Maybe it is due to my stressful days but never had I felt so strongly the anxiety, stress and burnout of a character
Fitz, dude, I feel you bro...

Is really EVERYONE pining in this book? Wars and battles and court intrigues all very cool but the angst and soft yearning in EVERY relationship is
Tasty AF.

At 1/3 of the book I was actually a bit meh about the MC (so annoying) and the typical YA teen drama plot points…
But then oof

I keep forgetting how much I damn love fantasy (as in not the YA kind anymore though)

This is absolutely *chef's kiss*

I feared it might be too overrated or idk too famous and therefore a letdown but oh boi, so far so good

Giada is starting Quella sera dorata
This is such a good book? I honestly didn’t expect to like it so much considering that the style is really particular and different from what I usually like, simple, direct and raw dialogues but, at the end, it hits deep and awoke so many feelings (sadness? Melancholy? Generic Nostalgia?) despite the very “non-emotional” writing style!
4.5!
