I occasionally buy books on a whim and then wait for years to actually read them. Usually I wind up reading them at the perfect moment in my life. Especially this book.
I bought this in 2010 in Edinburgh and it seemed quaint and curious. Now that I'm finally reading it in 2021, it seems prescient and vital.
This book which is 24 years old terrifyingly points to our present conundrums. Little had changed since 97.
