Thus far this is an amazing book, but given the subject matter's rather gritty nature it is something that I am taking in small doses, so as not to be overwhelemed. Given the title I do not imagine things will end well for this cast of characters, and certainly some sort of train wreck is in their nigh future. How bad the wreck will be, and who will survive is certainly up for debate. Can't wait to find out!

So far this is simply put an amazing book, and if you are thinking about reading it simply stop thinking and buy the damn thing- you won't be disappointed, and you'll be supporting an up and coming author!

At this juncture I will finish this book, but feel it is unlikely I will continue further with this ten book series.

Thus far a very fascinating and engrossing read. The characters often use words the author has created, but the glossary in the back helps.

Thus far I have read the first four short stories in this collection and found all of them to be at best a little above average. If the next two are more of the same, I may retire the book rather than read all fourteen tales.

Five stories in and thus far quite a decent collection, one great story, two really good stories, and two alright stories.

From what I can gather after my initial foray it seems as if I have a hard boiled fantasy novel in my hands, so color me excited.
