Great second volume in a series. Somehow Akers doesn't seem to have the usual second book slow done that I find to be present in other 2nr books of a series

Great how story lines have now diverged after the quest to Kataza

The well-written story continues. Excellent character devwlopment although plot seems to big down a bit. Perhaps intentionally to create atmosphere of the story line at thos point.

and humorous to boot!

Very informed both by delving into the historical and contemporary scholarship of missiology, especially in relation to First American indigenous tribal communities, as well as current encounters with members of said communities. Quite engaging but terminology is very fluid and complex due to the ontological necessity of being self-referential coherent.
