I skipped the 'Introduction' ... I rarely read them... And when I do, it after I have read the novel itself

I have read a lot of Canadian novels and short stories, even stuff by these authors … and I have to say that … so far (and I am six stories in) the editor of this short story collection seems to have gone out of their way to choose very pretentious pieces. I hope the collection improves.
