This is probably one of the most fascinating books I have read in a long time. And despite the title, I really don’t think (at least thus far) the book has done any outlandish prognosticating about the future that is not based in current (often disturbing) science. It has, in fact, rarely prognosticated about the future at all.

Holy smokes. Third story actually gave me the shivers. These are brilliant short stories, but soooooo, so very dark.

I knew government was corrupt. But my goodness. The unbelievable amount of corruption.
