She begins to uncover some startling secrets about the place. Did I mention that there are dragons? I so enjoyed it that I promptly bought all 5 books in the series and read them at top speed. Clean and suitable for young people as well.

In chapter four, Agata's protector defends her against an enemy. His sword slides out of the enemy's body, wet and shining with blood. I've had some feedback that this is quite confronting but we are seeing this event through Agata's eyes. She is young and sheltered and very afraid. She's never seen anyone killed, so these details stand out in her mind as a shocking occurance.

Sambeth is horrified to think that she may be of the evil angelic bloodline and Sem, the son of Noesh, tells her of impending doom. She can't be saved is she is an Earthborn.
