I'm only halfway through, but already know this is a book I am going to recommend to everyone I can. It is so far a cogent and systematic dissection of the essential whiteness and American-ness of white American christianity, how its theology has evolved over centuries to best uphold white supremacy, and most importantly, how it continues today.
