This is so excellently written!

A book which is just the right side of unnerving and spooky and mysterious, set where I live so I can imagine everything even more vividly than I usually do, and the two main characters are women who are in the two places I feel I’m in limbo between in my life. I’m enjoying this.

So brilliantly written, but it’s the first thing of Mark’s I’ve ever read and I wish I’d read it when I could have talked to him about it (he was a friend of my husbands, and he died last year).

Out of all the out there conspiracy theory books I’ve read (and there’s a lot) this one is definitely winning in the mind blowingly bonkers stakes
