Glad I started this in September. I was on track for my reading goal this year, now I'm 8 books behind. This is a bit of a chewer. I like it - but can't get more than 10 pages at a time down before passing out and going to sleep.

This is a big tale - and it was a bit of a slog. Charters were fairly deep and the amount of exposition on these characters seemed to greatly exceed their actions. As such - it's a bit of a slog, and I just couldn't find enough cycles to get through it. I will continue reading when I'm able to check it out again. Hopefully I'll finish it on that go.

A nice quick read. My copy at 347pages was turned asunder in a day as I immersed myself in 1900 Southern Africa. Historically astute fiction that places the reader in a bloody period of Africa's turbulent past, while delivering a hero's tale full of tenderness. This was my first Wilcox novel, but I will look for more.

This had the feel of a short story taken a few pages longer than necessary. I love Scalzis style though and The premise was entertaining none the less. if you're a lover of science fiction in TV form then this is a worthy read...

OK. This is enjoyable. Pity I've had so few reading hours - but this is one I look forward to every night.

Not bad. Crisp crime fiction. My first Sandford. Not my usual, but an easy read, and well researched and organized.
