Between the different world spaces, plot lines and character POVs I could see this getting a Game of Thrones-esque adaptation and it working really well.

The intro and setup is just as interesting as I remember it, though one plot line and part of the world building will take me a while to get used to.

The more this goes on the more the comparisons to Legends and Latte's abound. Sigh. I had high hopes for this but it feels like a total retread wearing a different hat.

I'm still pretty neutral on this so far. If anything it seems like it's re-treading Legends and Latte's footsteps without actually doing that much original. I hope that changes in the second half.

Kinda neutral so far, things are still being set up. I'd prefer a quicker pace but I don't dislike it either.

Really enjoying this so far. The re-read is living up to my teenage memories. I'm surprised by how many of the main plot points I remember 20 years later.

I'm listening to Part 3 on 2.25x speed because nothing is happening.

67-70%ish. New theory: I called who was going to die - but now I have a theory as to who did it. I must know!

I have so many questions! Pieces of the puzzle are coming together but some things have kind of come out of nowhere. Hmmm. I have my theories: The doctor is definitely swindling the main family for the money to pay for her parents' care, meanwhile the actual family are also swindling money for their own benefit. There's other things going on but I'm not sure what just yet.

Also, I swear Michael Crouch makes every gay teen boy he voices sound super sad and melancholic. I guess there's the juxtaposition from the Celadon we see from Arlo's POV and the true Celadon, but this doesn't even seem remotely the same character. Also, Celadon's POV just straight up ruins potential twists. Why?!

45%ish. FINALLY got my hands on this as the audiobook only just released in the UK. I have to say I'm loving every second of it so far!

I'm really tempted to call it quits on this one. Sieh's perspective isn't as interesting as I thought it'd be but it sure is disturbing. The plot hasn't really moved forwards much, most of it has been kind of aimless meandering and character interaction, which wasn't all bad but still leaves much to be desired.

I'm not really vibing with this so far, to be honest. I think it's because it's so different from the first two. I'm only in Part 1, so it's still building things up. Hopefully it'll pick up soon.
