it just keeps getting better... these captivating characters have totally reeled me into their family melodrama

the first time i read of Lola, I aspire(d) to age like her and live with her voracious attitude.
Reading about her again reminds me of that desire...

there is always something that can be taken away (more to lose)...

not the serendipity I expected... think I can guess where this is heading let's find out if I predicted right

too many sneak peeks from the prequel (which I already borrowed as an ebook) the new characters here n the serendipity awaiting them keep me from switching books n read them in order, though the peeks were v tempting will just unsurprise myself later with the prequel!

why not take a few extra steps simply because you can...

this is why I like his books - they make me smile n tear oh, have I mentioned I want (to own) a book store like Paper Gems ;D??

too many sub-plots are killing the joy... highly tempted to chuck it incomplete

Lend me Your Light - shows no optimism is futile with conviction n perseverance while the efforts may not always or immediately bring desired results, but that should never stop one from the meaningful endeavours

the huge dose of realistic relationship - strained relations between the mother and daughter glad to read about a fictional one that doesn't paint a rosy relationship

Reminds me of residents from 44 Scotland Street... tho the characters n setting cannot be more different. or just same-different?

Albom sure knows how to hook the reader from the very first page!
