This has been a real mixed bag of short stories. Frankly, the most disturbing aspect hasn't been the horror of the stories themselves, but the characters' frequent, blithe, and unchallenged use of racial slurs and hate speech, the underlying fat-phobia, and the author's prurient fascination with children having sex or being molested.

This is the first non-fiction audiobook I've listened to that didn't immediately put my wife to sleep.
