This book is turning out to be considerably better and smarter than I was expecting. It’s a mix of ‘The Great Escape’ and ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ but set on an alien planet. If you enjoyed the Capt. Marvel movie you should enjoy this.

Well so far this book has been a thing of beauty and a joy forever, which is a nice counter to the child murdering pedophile book we’re reading for book club this week.

I’ll be really glad when book clubs decide they’ve read enough books about victimization of children. These are never a fun read/listen.
