This book was fantastic. It highlights Ancient Greek warfare, which although brutal, was always quick, decisive and never involved civilian casualties. Honor and courage were the most prized possessions. It was better to lose nobly than to win ignobly. A different time. If men must fight, let them fight like Hoplites.
