Im so fkn lost, Ive never read a book so confusing. The fact that we're in a school hasn't helped me feel like ive learned anything about the universe at all. I'm having to deduce what all these super important terms are and I'm being proven wrong every time they show up. Barely any descriptions of places or people, I can't get immersed at all.

so far so good, very lore heavy. I thought I might get lost at the start but all is well. I think its got a ton of layers as a modern fantasy and I can see the politics building.

Dianna is 100% an unconventionally strong woman. She's all business, wants the fun she knows she can't have but doesn't let that stop her. She does what has to be done.
It's good to see a strong woman not reject feminine traits
