A great read about the Justice League in a time before they formed. In a 1950's America where the heroes were run off. Batman is an outlaw, Superman is a lapdog of the government & Wonder Woman has been forced out by Nixon.
When an attack is about to occur new heroes like The Flash, Man Martian Hunter & the Green Lantern step up to the forefront.
Great art and story by the legendary Darwyn Cooke. A must read.
