Alan is trying desperately to get Alice back... she’s close yet so far away.

The book is still keeping me hooked. Although I would like to finish it soon. It’s not that I’m not enjoying it, it’s just better books are waiting for me.

The pace kind of dropped a couple of chapters ago but has now picked up again. Thankfully.

Honestly it’s quite intriguing if you haven’t played or have forgotten the game narrative.

Got to admit, this is written way better than I expected... it’s enough to get my heart racing!
The main action is just about to start.

Things are starting to get creepy. Unlike the game I have no control over the book. I am glad I have forgotten what happened in the game, it is good enough so far to be a stand alone story.

Just read the prologue, very exciting indeed. Plus the short chapters are going to make it a quick read.

Just under 50 pages to go. I’m excited to see how the author will deal with the ending because the one in the game was so anti-climatic...

It doesn’t go into the future but it still hints about it which I thought was cool. Ezio has finally discovered the apple!

Ezio has taken care of 80% percent of all his enemies. I can tell this story is now coming to a close.

I’ve learned a speed reading technique that doing wonders for my ability to read faster and comprehend. I take it on board then when I am not reading I can then imagine what I read. Should have finished this book in a couple of days more!

I am going to try the reading challenge next year and consume lots of books. Missed reading so much!

For once I’m not reading a book just to reach the end of it. I know what happens, I’ve played the game. I am just enjoying the nostalgia and remembering one of my favourite video characters in his prime.

Meeting the fireball Caterina Sforza again gives me a bit of nostalgia, I instantly recognised the name!

A satisfying assassination that was 100% more graphic and gruesome than the video game. All left up to your imagination. It’s very likely I will complete all Oliver Bowden’s assassins creed books after this one.

I haven’t read a book this quickly in years, what I like to do is finish reading a chapter then watch the cutscene from the game. You realise how much better the story is told In the book!

If you enjoy the story in the game, you will love the book. It’s the same story but a lot more entertaining, informative and realistic.

I’m hooked so far, I’m usually a slow reader but I’ve made it to page 88 in four hours which is impressive for me!
