Before reading "A room of one's own" I assumed from the title that the book will be about writing, and it turned out I was wrong. But I was not at all disappointed. The book is about women, their independence, autonomy, self-respect, freedom from men, freedom of mind, their place in society. Written in 1929, the essay remains relevant in our days.
Three stars.
