Hilarious! More laughs than Bernhard. On occasion Sachs also hits you over the head with a sentence worthy of Cynthia Ozick’s pen.

Example: “Neither could’ve understood how the popping into being of a point of prettily twinkling luminosity overhead could bring to the imperial face such an expression of horror.”

The South Africa bit followed by the Malta bit have led me to take a break.
