If you like mystery and intense books this book is perfect for you it's a perfect blend of mystery and intensiveness. But, a question I've got is, Why does Donlow accuse/blame black cops when he thinks they do it?

One thing that I've been wondering about is why is there so many people get shot or stabbed and night and left there to die or thrown into a a dump and covered with trash

Why is this book based off of cops figuring out murders and then getting and then random people getting attacked by cops over info that they need for someone who got murdered.

When teenager Lily Ellsworth was found dead in a dump, What I think so far of this book is that it is during a time where people thought murder is okay.

Last night there was someone who attempted murder and today is the trial so they called in Boggs and Smith, but after it Smith found his shirt and slacks but Boggs only found his shirt but he lost his pants.

One of my questions was why did they not let Negros have a say, but then 20,000 Negros later the let them have a say. Also a guy got stabbed in the gut and it was so bad that he couldn't roll over.

A character that is pretty unique is Dunlow who is a white officer and sometimes he has to go to black neighborhoods and so a murderer just broke out of jail and so he has to talk to the murderers sister for answers and I think that the murderers sister won't speak the truth so she doesn't blow his cover.
Murderers name is James James Jameson.

What I think about my book so far is that it is based on the time of segregation and it's based off of insight of cops and there in the Negro neighborhoods.
