Honestly I thought this book was going to be boring and stereotypical, but honestly it’s not. I’m glad it shows people’s mental issues throughout the book and shows how some may think, such as it’s shown through Aza and Davis. The two make a strong friendship along the way and it’s sweet to see how overthinkers can work so well together

So far Davis and Aza have gained an even greater connection. Aza is slowly growing into Davis’s family, and taking care of his little brother. Aza saves her money that she got from davis, and her best friend bought a new car and some other unnecessary things.

So far, i’ve learned that the main character in the book, Aza, is not the only character experiencing and going through OCD. The two awkward teenagers are really qwerty and seem like their going through a typical awkward-in-love-teenager stage. They both along the way discover that they experience never ending and obsessive thoughts.

So far, i’m not really enjoying the book. There’s too many L.A. “assumptions” i guess you could call it and the book is very stereotypical. You have the bratty rich girls, your typical nerd group, and the jocks, and it’s not very interesting. I think Jesse is a unique character but her surroundings aren’t.

The book keeps getting better and better in my opinion. I like how I get to see Jesse always constantly changing, and by changing I mean becoming more mature and familiar with her senses. Jesse is now becoming a young woman, and is losing her child qualities.

So far, Jessie has gotten closer to her fellow work buddy in the book store she just started working at. She’s now comfortable enough to start a conversation, without the awkward tension. Not only is she getting closer to him, but also his mother who is the owner of the current shop, and they work together quite fine.

As Jessie gets to experience the real side of Los Angeles, she gets closer to her new step brother. Not only her new brother, but also Somebody Nobody (SN). The days continue on at her school and gets to meet new friends and more time hangout with “The Batman,” to work on their project fairly.

While Jessie’s day’s at her new school slowly pass by, she experiences loads of flashbacks containing her mother and father. As Jessie has lost her mother, Theo lost his father, and the two wind up having a short conversation about their problems. Jessie sneaks down to the kitchen to find the newlyweds cuddled up and feeling the same way as Theo and Jes.

During the beginning, the book seemed a little rushed because the background of what previously happened was barley a page. It jumped right to their conversations, but I guess that's alright. So far, Jessie meets "SN" (Somebody Nobody), and is obviously revealed as annonymous. They have a little conversation and SN basically introduces Jessie to her new school that SN calls a "war zone".

So far, I’ve reached to the point of the book where it transitions to the “after” stage. But before that, everyone wakes up the next morning completely hungover, regretting their mistakes of the night before. Mike tells Alaska she should drink less, and later leads to Alaska telling everyone that she is not doing well, and is mentally ill.

So far, everyone went on a date at the basketball game, which Alaska went with her boyfriend Jake, and Pudge went with some other unknown girl. The date was a splurge and a mess so everyone ended up going home. Pudge stays at Culver Creek for thanksgiving with Alaska for small hopes of hooking up, or something better.

*spoilers*

So far Miles seems to be getting closer to Alaska. I think this because Alaska are Miles seem to be talking more, and also seem to be hanging out together (not hanging out with just each other I mean with other people). Also, they had this 'study group' where they were doing algebra and in a way, they really seemed to connect with each other and were pretty happy.

The book is weird but kind of adventurous so far. Alaska is quite the character, and Alaska and the kernel are having relationship troubles. I don't understand why they're still together though.
