This is a Castle book with the names changed. I think the script writers are just cobbling this series together out of old episodes. That's OK, though.

Over halfway through & really enjoying it even though he's not my favorite actor & I know nothing about theater. How does he keep it so interesting?!!!

The constant use of the present tense is wearing (e.g. 'I say' rather than 'I said') but it's not a bad story so far. Seems the movie followed it closely.

The reader, Carolyn McCormick, has too high a voice & not enough differentiation between speaking voices. Still, she's easy to understand, if not my favorite.

The forces are marshaled for both good & ill. I would have thought I was further along than I am. Good, though.

Johanna Parker is doing a great job of reading this. Sookie is pretty good, but Grandma is perfect.

Continuing my love-hate relationship w/the Anita Blake series, loaned to me by a friend, so I'll start it this evening.

Boring, so far. Seems like a short story in novel form written as a sop to those readers like like her romantic drivel.

Reading more like a Mac Bolan (The Executioner) novel. Much better than the previous 6 novel drivel, but still not as good as the original 10.

Fantastic. Her humorous touch is filled with interesting facts. As good as "Stiff".
