Down Among the Dead Men: A Year in the Life of a Mortuary Technician
Always remove pacemakers before cremation. Not much closure for the techs.

Autobiography of Mark Twain: The Complete and Authoritative Edition, Volume 1, Part 1
The actual autobiography starts on pg 216?!!! I need to skip ahead. I don't find the history of this all that interesting. It's not what I got this for.

I love the bits of reality he drops in, e.g. a girl getting wedgie when she skids across the floor. ;-)

This is a Castle book with the names changed. I think the script writers are just cobbling this series together out of old episodes. That's OK, though.

They used some lines from this book in "Payback". They were some of the best.

Drama: An Actor's Education
Over halfway through & really enjoying it even though he's not my favorite actor & I know nothing about theater. How does he keep it so interesting?!!!

The Hunger Games (The Hunger Games, #1)
The constant use of the present tense is wearing (e.g. 'I say' rather than 'I said') but it's not a bad story so far. Seems the movie followed it closely.

The Hunger Games (The Hunger Games, #1)
The reader, Carolyn McCormick, has too high a voice & not enough differentiation between speaking voices. Still, she's easy to understand, if not my favorite.

A LOT of recap. If I'd read the last book a year ago, I would have been fine.

She's referring to things I seem to have missed, but I haven't, unless there is a short story that covered as much as she normally does in a book!

Reading more like a Mac Bolan (The Executioner) novel. Much better than the previous 6 novel drivel, but still not as good as the original 10.
