I'm getting through this slowly as it's interesting but difficult to follow - Joseph Townsend was a British medical doctor, geologist and vicar of Pewsey in Wiltshire, known for his 1786 treatise A Dissertation on the Poor Laws in which he expounded a naturalistic theory of economics and opposed state provision...based on the fluctuating populations of dogs and goats on the Juan Fernandez Island(s).

I'm not enjoying the format of the book at all.

This should be a feature film, this is epic in scale and achievement.
