Mentions of the monsters of Gevaudan tickled my interest, also the monster from the 2001 movie Le pacte des Loups which is a brilliant action film from France. SO FAR the read it is a fun journey.

Lying in bed having the flu does not help my reading, the recovering does help however. But not any tough to read material. There is nothing tough about the Alien books this time starring Amanda Ripley, daughter of the infamous Lt. Ellen Ripley survivor of the Nostromo. Her daughter searching for answers about her missing mom brings her into contact with your worst nightmare.

Not one of Kings' easy to read novels this one.

Kirk is no more but Spock, Uhura & McCoy have a job to do.
