Aaaahhh idk if it's my library's audiobook or what but so far 2 chapters have just cut off mid sentence and skipped to the next one.
Also this is just okay, it feels less focused than the last one and the plot doesn't feel very tense

Not a lot really happening, Ziva definitely does not want to be a protagonist lol but I like the complicated emotions being explored. It's not subtle, but i like seeing fantasy characters actually talk about their feelings on modern-ish relationships. The actual plot doesn't feel that important though compared to the personal stuff

Very entertaining, even though I have no idea who this guy is lol much better than How Are You Really which masqueraded as a self help book. This is definitely more up front about its memoir-ness and comes off as more genuine

This narrator is still not my favorite:/ but I'm liking getting back with Ziva and Kellyn and Petrick! The royals have no sense of urgency at all tho lol

Oh yeah. Usually I don't buy the whole "magic makes you very sexy" but yeah I'm buying it this time. I guess vampires can make me believe that

Okay yeah this has the stuff I hate in "I'm a woman BUT I can fight and think better than anyone" but I'm totally into hit vampire king so

This is SO SLOW too many people with too much backstory. Plus it wastes time with characters recapping the same events. Or setting up a plan for them to just get killed. Could be much better

How does this woman keep getting away with being as unprofessional as possible in every situation?? I mean she's not annoying but there's a LOT of "just this time I'll be petty"

So this woman is mediocre at her job (didn't notice COWS coming up on her?? Not making a fake dating game plan??) But is also incredibly vengeful towards her best friend. Jack is much more likeable

It was an explosive start followed by a bunch of Nothing lol I'm thinking there are too many characters and the actual pace is wayyy too slow

Sweet, but kind of aimless. I do like whatever flirty thing she has with the bartender though

the actual questions they pose and the advise sections are not as bad, not sure if it wipes out how annoying the first half of this is

Already a huge cast, lots of timelines going around. So far its all straight in my head but probably not for long lol. I am very interested in what the heck is happening though

unsurprisingly all the 5 star reviews are from people who already know and love this woman...being that I have no idea who she is I'm not seeing the benefits of this book really at all. Very little actual advice and a lot of memoir like sections

I feel like most of this book is just this woman getting very very lucky that her passions turn into income. Humble bragging. A few pages of advice that is too generic, then the chapter ends. It's not bad, just I think pretty hard to put into effect

Pretty cute already, but they're hammering home the message pretty hard for only being the 1st quarter. If this woman spends the whole book looking for "signs from the universe" its going to get annoying

I know this is a character driven book but really not much has happened at all lol and yet I'm still interested

So I have no idea who this author is, an influencer of some kind, but this is really not hitting me. The first chapter was something to think about everything else so far is kind of her humblebragging about her own accomplishments?? Not buying into it

This is going to be eye-rolling in like 5-10 years with how many current references are in it, but for now I think its a good re of a teenager. I don't feel the slow pace at all, even if I could see what the conclusion was, its hard to be a teen and see that right away. I liked watching Maggie think through everything

Idk I dont think Amanda's being entirely unreasonable, when I was a teenager I'd be pretty dense to think the same way. If it wasn't okay, Maggie should not have said okay!

There's not a ton of horror scenes but they are Visceral lol I'm really liking it

I could understand how some people would think this is a little cringey but I totally think this is how teenagers are. I really like Maggie!!

They are all just so cute. Baby gays. Talking about She Ra and who to take to the quinceanera. But really, Maggie can't be that much of a disaster if she already has career plans AND experience

uuugh why is this so LONG. I'm on the fence about Jules' relationship with Jarrah, some of it feels performative, some of it feels like people just getting to know each other and one not knowing what to say to the horrible things Jarrah has been through. Matty also should not be getting ALL the blame just because she's getting cold feet about having kids, I think Parker is way overreacting

Idk about now, but 5-7 years ago this is still about right for the metal/punk scene for teenagers. Garage bands and house parties

I'm legally required to read this. They'll take away my queer card if I don't read this. And I love a good quinceanera party
