Can’t say with certainty that I’m understanding all the political back and forth, but I do like the main characters.

I’m so glad I’m liking this. The last two Hazelwood books I read were misses for me, but this one’s been really fun.

I’m delusional for thinking I could squeeze one more book in before July is over 🥴 This will probably be the last book I read from my tbr wheel for awhile. I need a break!

Can’t believe they took away the one character I cared for. If I were less stubborn I’d dnf this one

This is isn’t quite what I was expecting. It’s interesting to read this one after reading Ready Player One though. In a way it’s like seeing two sides of the same coin.

Apparently, the main story begins now…. Then what the heck have I been reading up until now? 🥴

Next up from TBR wheel. After the first two, a YA is a welcome reprieve. It’s ok so far. I like the premise and the concept of a ship sailing through time, but the characters are kinda meh.
Side note: this is the third book I read this year that prominently features a ship, and I’m loving it. Is this my new niche?

My next book from the TBR wheel…I’ve been avoiding this one on purpose. I started it once and was put off by the lingo. Once I got used to it though, it’s not so bad. I’m mildly interested. I can tell this one’s going to leave me thinking long after finishing it.

I feel like my brain is shrinking 🥴

I currently have about 20 books in my physical TBR (honestly thought there were more), half of which I’ve owned for several years now. In an attempt to read most of them, I’m going to be doing the wheel of names trend from tiktok lol. This is the first book that came up…don’t judge me! Anyway, the story so far is alright, but the constant exposition is killing the vibes.

Reading this for a bookclub has been both a blessing and a curse. I want to finish it so bad!! The discussions have helped me understand and theorize though, so I can’t really complain.
