I also went into this book expecting a thriller but its rather slow paced and just a little mystery vibes. I’m hopeful it will pick up in the second half.

Im not sure how i feel about the representation in this one… everyone is white and not racially described past the first introduction, while the one bad guy is described racially and religiously in a negative light(i feel at least), several different times. Id like to see what someone of color thinks of this book.
