Cultural pressure might change one's perception regarding "normal". In fact the surrounding culture , the one practiced by majority has the power to change or to coin a whole new set of "norms".

Still trying to find the element of Happiness (though I know is just a title of one story) and I feel as if not a even a single character has been conceived to make , rather they all find depressing situations quite handy and get settle down like before you get a chance to console.
