Germany gives Belgium an ultimatum that if they allow Germany to go through their country, nothing will happen and Germany will pay for any wrongdoing after they defeat France. Belgium parliament has 12-hours to respond.

Austria declares war on Serbia. Germany declares war on Russia.

Britain argues over supporting France regardless of a violation of Belgium’s neutrality by Germany but ultimately agree to fight. Churchill quietly deploys the fleet.

France conducts state visit to Russia. France mobilizes five Armies but keeps them 10k from the German border to leave no doubt who is the aggressor.

Germany occupies Luxembourg and declares war on Russia. Italy looks for a loophole to back out of allied alliance.
