Thought I’d read something super cheerful for the festive period 🙃

Finding it tricky to get through this book, there’s lots of interesting points made but the arguments are weak I think, there’s not a great deal of substance to them.

Getting there! I've found reding a large book like this actually take away the feeling of where you are in the book. With smaller books, I usually am aware of just how much into it I am 1/4, 1/2, 2/3 etc. but with this I am not in so much of a rush. Not pnly that it's a brilliant story!

This is the first time I've ever updated my book status before finishing a book because I wanted to put it out there that this is a book that everyone should read! There's so much to dissect (especially for a sociologist like me). More updates to come!

Really enjoyable and easy read. Lot's of little lessons that are pretty simple yet easily overlooked, also interesting to learn about Marcel Proust himself. Who'd have thought the man to write the longest book in the world spent almost all his time in bed!
