Hi Goodreads peeps! It's been a while, catching up is hard to do... been writing & working nonprofit gigs. I can't wait to share what's coming up! I'm finally getting some reading in too <3 Shuffling around some release dates due to "life" & rerouted endeavors (timing). I'm looking forward to 2018 & all the bookish adventures.

Slow start, for me. It was hard to read about the shameful brutality that Cora & Caesar (& others) endured as slaves, but I'm happy I didn't give up. This story has take an interesting turn and now I can't put it down. The human spirit is so resilient & the power of hope is magical. I'm rooting for these two.

I LOVE MYSTERIES w/a slice of romance! That moment when you're almost done & you have to go to work... argh. LOVE THIS BOOK.

Ehhh. It's alright. I'm finding myself skimming to get to something better. I hope this next half is better.

Hmmm. Not sure how I'm feeling about this book. The book premise is very unique and is what drew me. However, there are so many similarities to Twilight that it's making me feel ehhhh. I get that "vampires" have traits, but man, and the dialog literally is taking me back to Twilight.

Writing the epilogue for my Heavy Influence Trilogy series. The end of the "Jake and Alyssa" love story, LOVE AMPLIFIED, releases on Oct. 25th. To those waiting...thank you for being so patient. I hope not to disappoint you. I'm excited to introduce a new bad boy, Kai Burton, to debut in a stand alone spin-off - hopefully to release in April (excerpt to appear in Love Amplified). Feeling quite emo at the moment.
