Those Russian writers and their character development always create page turners, and in a book this long that means that once you start a session you will not put it down until someone or something forces you to. What is chilling is how the medical and scientific community was far more objective and evidence based in early 20th century Soviet sociopolitics than our scientific mainstream is today in the West.

The book ages well. I couldn't help but wonder about the emotionless claims of reptiles, having experienced a very bonded and loving bearded dragon. Fun read though.

Finally relocated my book... one of the dogs had dragged it under the bed.

Having read TRANCE, I didn't think I could be shocked any further... And I was wrong. If you lived during the 80s and 90s and were remotely aware, this book will be dizzingly upsetting and confusing. I have spoken with Cathy and she is a credible witness.

I've decided to read more uplifting material after these two monsters of a reality check.
