Very Interesting start. I'm definitely enjoying the book so far, mostly because I love the Shadowhunter world and the way Clare writes is downright addicting. I want to keep reading because I want to see how the plot unfolds. The only thing I cannot get past right now is the style in which Emma's character thinks and speaks. The writing seems very curt and almost non-descriptive while everyone else is strong.
