Started to listen to this book tougher with my brother whenever we drive in the car. It may take a bit longer to finish than normal, but we wanted the ability to use the time to just sit and enjoy a mutual book we had not read and could talk about together.

I thought it would be hard to follow Ray Porter's narration because of how many iterations of "Bob" we eventually start interacting with, but I'm pleasantly surprised and very entertained at how the personalities are written in such a way that Mr. Porter is able to add personality to any iteration with ease!

I'm absolutely enjoying this book; it's super funny while exploring what makes us human even when we are not in a meat bag anymore. Bob has achieved what most of us would only dream of; the ability to travel the stars and nearly never fear death. I for one would probably go mad with being so alone for so long but it would be so cool to explore the stars still.

I can see why the first book is definitely a children's book. It really makes me wonder how the rest of the books kind of "grow up" during the timeline. While I should have been able to finish the book a few months ago (Audible says I have about 3 hours left to finish...since Oct) I haven't really had the interest to continue. For now, I'm just assessing if this is because of a lack of interest of a lack of time.
