It's getting good...

Hmmm...the nonhuman part of the couple is distancing herself, she says her family has to leave town, and a new guy, who drives a motorcycle, shows up...Sound familiar?

So far it's endearingly fun.

Okay. So we haven't made it very far yet, but the girls seem to be enjoying this one. So far it is very similar to Narnia.

I must admit I'm having fun with this one. Light and funny. Just what I needed at the moment.

I'm over halfway through and I just can't figure out what's going to fill up the second half. I hope it's amazing because the story seems to be wrapping up for me. I know it will be a tragic, gut-wrenching ending. I'm trying to prepare myself. I just hope Levin and Kitty remain happy...

The length of this novel is daunting, but I can see what all the fuss has been about. I'm really enjoying it, even though I know how it ends. So many layers and themes. I could write a research paper! ;)

I'm a little scared by the reviews of Insurgent on goodreads. I SO want to like this one. I'm chanting as I read...Please be good, please be good.

Rereading Encrypted before I read Enigma!

I guess you could say I'm taking my time with this one...Really, I just haven't had time to read. It is interesting to read it after having seen the last film. It was pretty spot on!

Rereading for the umpteenth time in celebration of the final movie.

I know this book is different but that is exactly what I find refreshing about it. I feel as if I'm watching a Nora Ephron movie as I read. It's witty and sweet. And it's also a quick read!

With dark undertones and mystical happenings, The Raven Boys is the perfect book to read at Halloween. Each character is enigmatic, and I can feel my attachment growing with every page. I'm already dreading the long wait for the next one!

I don't know about the girls, but I am enjoying this little book much more than the first time I read it.

"You must allow me to tell you how ardently I admire and love you." Swoon!

I never shall tire of Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy.

Taking a break from this one for a bit.

I'm reading this one with my girls. So far they just crack up at the silly way they talk.

I'm gonna give this one a try. I wasn't that impressed with the first book in the series, but I'm a fan of Maggie Stiefvater's writing, so, here I go!

Oh wow. Can I just say I love this series? I know I've said it a gajillion times but it is true. I'm so glad to finally be reading this one. Let me just say it was SO worth the wait. But really is 3 months that long to wait? Not when big name series take a year or longer, and by the time you read them you've forgotten most of what happened in the last book. This is one series I would wait for though. :)

I'm on a Maggie Stiefvater binge. I'm enjoying her books because I don't have to think too much when I read them and that's what I need in the summer. I picked this one up simply because the main character's name is pretty darn close to mine, and that's a rare thing.

It appears that people either love this book or hate it. I loved The Scorpio Races so I'm anxious to see if the style is similar and how this one compares. We shall see.

I love Virginia Woolf's writing! She can make the most mundane things sound so beautiful and complicated. This is the kind of book I have to read with a pencil in hand.

It is taking me way too long to read this one. Not because it isn't good, but because I'm just too busy. So far it's just as good as the second one. I'm anxious to get through it and see how it all ends!

A somewhat slow start but it's gathering momentum.

A better read than the first one but still tedious. I really hate that I'm not enjoying this series more. It's so detailed. I think I need a condensed version! ;) I'm taking a break and reading something else for a bit.
