In the book Marlow is getting ready to head up the river. A connection that I have had with the story so far is Marlow's reactions to events. For example, he is confused by the behavior of the other Europeans at the station, and I shared this reaction. Also, he was disgusted by the treatment of some of the natives.

Napoleon has left Russia, and the citizens of Moscow are trying to rebuild.

Caesar Borgia just died.

Just started on the North African campaign.

The book is somewhat depressing.

I'm looking forward to this book because I'm a big Napoleon fan.

The story has improved a lot, because now it is focusing on Rene.

The books is very informed and doesn't leave anything out.

I'm enjoying the book so far, although its complicated.

Having only just started, I am looking forward to reading another one of Dumas's masterpieces.

An interesting book that covers many topics usually ignored while learning about WWI

Looks like it will be a very informative book

I think its a good book, but the the story seems to have drifted from the original plot.
