I like it that orcs are badass in the book instead of cannon fodder and the heroine is awesome. But whereas the backstory of Mazorik's first pupil is simply brilliant (all of the Mazorik flashbacks are great so far) the present time scenes are sometimes ridiculous. They always bump into a prince and everyone has superpowers. Bellamir and Elf Dude (can't remember his name) could have been fused as the same character.

Not so sure about this book, great characters, interesting premise but Bree acts like a ditzy 13 year old and the sex scenes seem kind of out of place for a book because of thw simple writing style that should be aimed at teenagers.
