Now cursed with waiting for GRRM to publish new books

Ok, so I followed the original webcomic back in the day. The writing and pacing in the new comic feels kinda rushed and confusing. I think I remember there being much more buildup between Asa and Rook in the old webcomic, but maybe the pacing felt slower back then when waiting for new pages 🤔
Still... I like the gritty and dark vibes of the new comic and the art is really beautiful

Apparently, the quality of the books really takes a nosedive from this point onwards, so to preserve my sanity I will stop here lmfao.... Book 3 felt like a nice conclusion to the story anyway

Hmm, finished book 1. Not sure what to make of the story so far! The prose is very beautiful, the world feels surreal and the worldbuilding is quite interesting. I just wish severian wasnt so horny LMAO. The amount of times i rolled my eyes when reading another description about a woman's breasts. Gene wolfe, you truly are a male scifi writer.
