honestly

school is 99% of my life but comics are still important

Not sure if I'll finish reading, but this is an excellent history lesson.

This is making me think so much about who I am now and the changes I'm going thru. A very emotionally important book for me.

Almost done and to be honest I wasn't impressed until halfway through. Rincewind makes me happy.

"It was all very well going on about pure logic and how the universe was ruled by logic and the harmony of numbers, but the plain fact of the matter was that the disc was manifestly traversing space on the back of a giant turtle and gods had a habit of going round to atheists' houses and smashing their windows."

There's quite a few stand-out pieces that I like, and then there are pieces that make me wonder. so, yeah. I'll write a more comphrensive post on my blog later, but like most short story collections this one's a mixed bag.

Busy with school, work, writing, student groups, etc. but I still have to get angry about comics and medieval world literature. lol.

Fascinating. Economics and social theory actually...are interesting.

I've been reading this for two days straight this is such a well-crafted piece of work. If you have any interest in post-war Japanese narratives/history of manga and Japanese pop-culture, you really owe it to yourself to read this.
