I can make a connection to Social Studies because we were learning about slaves and how that kind of started the Civil War

I've have been noticing a lot of conflict Elijah's family has, both his parents are runaway slaves and Elijah is a slave as well. I've also noticed a character trait about Elijah and that is that he's a very fragile person.

I've noticed that Naruto is not as strong as others but I predict in the future he will learn more moves and become mor powerful

I feel as if this book shows empathy and I kind of want to be there and help these people out. It's kind of like this book is if it's real life.

I felt this connection of like being grateful and kind. This reminded me of thanksgiving

Now the book is getting more in depth I'm beginning to question why it was that important to rule the world.

When the book explains the takeover by the Germans I wonder if the people of Denmark were thinking of making an actual army to fight back because I would want my country to be protected but I don't know if they had the supplies to even attack them.

I'm really starting to understand how the people in Denmark felt, if I were them I would get everybody together and rebel against the Germans

In this book so far I've noticed how the German troops always felt like they always have needed more power around the world because they wanted to take over the world.

In the end everything wasn't as bad as I expected, but overall this was a really good book

I notice now that Mrs.Davidson has been suspecting Elliot lately, I wonder what she will catch on to or suspect of him.

Elliot has begun to lose himself now. I think this is because he could be getting dramatized by his dad never being home now, as well as his mom doesn't even care for Elliot's father anymore.

Over these past couple chapters, I've noticed a lot of depression from Elliot . His dad is always working and he never even see's his dad, he's getting bullied by this "gang", and his mother basically wants a divorce with his father.

I cannot believe that Elliot is watching Baker just get bullied like this. If Elliot wants to be his friend he shouldn't be a bystander and stand up for one another.

I've noticed how Elliot has been refusing to believe that everything that's happening in his life is actually happening. For example on page 9 he says "Not real, Not real, Not real" after his dad broke his spine.

Now as the book is over, I noticed that Josh has very strong feelings for his dad and how he wants to practice and be with him a lot. I think this is because his dad has a very good influence on basketball for JB and Josh because he played in the NBA and his sons want to do the same.

I've noticed that JB has been focusing on Miss sweet tea more than basketball and now of he stays like that he wont get into the NBA like he would want to.

In my book I have noticed how Josh Bell has let all the people that make fun of him not bother him. For example on page 8 Josh states that he gets made fun of by his parents and others but he overcame it.

I'm only a little bit into the book and it really seems like this army life is harder than what I thought it would be. I thought that the army would be hard but not this hard.

In the end Petrel ended up the way that I wanted. She was happy with the secret holder from the ice burger that knew all the secretly of all secrets of this super old ship. I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it to people who like suspensful books

In the end Derek didn't turn out the way I wanted him to. He still just slacked in school and played that stupid Arctic Ninja game which really just took over his life in general. A well as Derek's dad sort of has a fault in this because he is the one who recommended this game to him and Derek fell in love with this game and left school in the dust.

I'm inferring that Petrel is calling the captain of the ship a demon because he has been on this ship for 300 years so his spirit would be "haunting the ship". But I also infer that she is doing this only to scare the "new kid".

I infer that Derek has still been not doing the greatest in school but I also have been noticing that he has started to put in more work for school. I know this because on P.145 Derek says " I ask Carly to study later on in the week" this is how I inferred that Derek is putting in a little bit more effort

I've noticed that Derek has been focusing way too much on video games and he doesn't care about school anymore. I know this because on page 71 in the text their is a mini image that says summer camp depressing. Which in conclusion means he doesn't really enjoy and/or focus enough in school so he probably wont get a good job because of his grades.

I'm inferring that Petrel has always been an independent person her whole life. Because before and after her parents where thrown overboard she was stil very independent and didn't really trust "outsiders".

I'm predicting that Petrel is gonna make a secret plan of some sort and it would like involve getting revenge from what they did to her parents

I noticed that Petrel is very independent on the ship (Ice breaker) ever since her parents were thrown overboard and killed. I think this because Petrel doesn't trust the people who are aboard because they are not so trustworthy and they basically are losing their minds from being on this ship so long
