After Yaweh offers up an edict, Noah and his family must prepare. The ark they must build should be massive, in order to fit two (and only 2) of each animal. As the rains begin, the ark is full and Noah is at the helm ready for an adventure. As they set sail, it will take some getting used to, but soon the Noyes family is in the groove. Some backstory here and there before Noah finds things to keep him in control.

As things progress, there is much to learn about how these girls continue to keep secrets from one another, all while trying to advance their own lives. There is much talk about pasts best left hidden and stories that the townsfolk would love to know, but the Pipers know when to keep their mouths clasped shut. Still, family revelations come to the surface, causing major rifts between sisters and truths harm many!

With Yaweh set to arrive at any time, Noah must make sure he and his entire brood are ready. Speculation around what the message will be mounts, as does the curiosity of many, but nothing is discovered until the final moment. There are some who are less concerned about the news but prefer to focus on themselves and their own well-being, which could have some consequences down the road. Noah learns some of the plan.

This story of the Piper family gains momentum in the eye of tragedy. With the addition of a fourth girl, the family takes on a new and unique dynamic, though the number of secrets pile higher. As time passes, the girls grow and their lives take interesting turns, while they all remember some of those harrowing experiences at the end of the Great War. Custance explored these with some of the NHL’s most notable coaches and got the personal spin on life behind the bench!

A small group of people have been protecting a crown with magical powers. It can be traced back over 2000 years and its powers are monumental.

With France being torn apart because of the religious furor in Europe, Bruno finds himself stuck in the middle. His past excommunication makes him a likely suspect to have killed his friend, who backed the Catholics, but Bruno is sure it has more to do with the battle for the French Throne. Working with Henri III and the Queen Mother (Catherine de Medici), Bruno tries to find the killer, as more bodies pile up!

After Bruno is sent to live again in France, he makes his way to Paris to see an old friend. Not a week later, the priest is found clinging to life in the water and utters a single word before he perishes. Bruno is sure it was murder and goes to see his long-time friend, King Henri III. Henri speaks of the Catholic League, which has been trying to oust him from the throne, backing the Duke of Guise. Trouble brews!

As the action heats up, Bruno posits that he knows why Dunne was killed and potentially who the killer could be. However, nothing is quite that simple and Bruno finds himself captured by a man who wants nothing more than to see the former monk erased from history. Keen forethought might be the only thing that saves Bruno this time, but he could also end up on the wrong side of a killer with nothing to lose this time!

While many have likely heard of Dwight D. Eisenhower, few knew the man enough to understand why he did the things attributed to him. A man of luck and on whom history appeared to smile, there was much behind the decisions he made and the choices taken during some of his important roles in American history. His granddaughter sheds light on the values and ideals Ike brought to the table, as well as his humility.

An old nemesis has been poking around looking to buy it, for reasons that Bruno can only surmise. With a killer on the loose, Bruno learns that two other men died recently and they were connected to Dunne. Might there be something here to see?

A mysterious man appears in small-town Alaska and notices his resemblance to Travis Barlow. Little does Travis know, but this is a long ago ancestor from the late 19th century who was frozen until the present. Wyatt Barlow has few memories from his life before trekking up to Alaska for the gold rush, but he is determined to reunite with Travis and his family, filling in the gaps thereafter. Wyatt has much to tell!

In this tale, Giordano Bruno accepts the invitation of his friend, Sir Philip Sidney, to board a ship and take a journey with a popular navigator. Before they set sail from Plymouth, Bruno and Sidney learn that one of the crew has hanged himself. While this puts a damper on any voyage, the captain refuses to leave until the truth is revealed, fearing that a murderer is responsible. Bruno is followed by a hooded man!

With Pickton in custody when pieces of evidence linked him to the deaths of two women, things got intense. In jail, Pickton was obstinate about being involved with any killing of prostitutes and became quite neutral surrounding any involvement, feigning shock. On the farm, investigators found mountains of evidence and biological proof, including freezers with parts and bone pits with human remains. Cue the circus!

Bruno finds himself in an interesting situation when someone from his past surfaces and seeks his assistance. Wanted for the murder of her husband in Canterbury, Sophia has gone into hiding and is seeking help. Bruno makes his way there, also in disguise, and begins asking questions. He is soon targeted for another murder and the local constable uses his being foreign against him. Bruno discovers a local secret plot.

The more women who went missing, the slower the police seemed to be about solving the disappearances. While Cameron does posit that the prostitute nature of the women might have created some lack of interest, there came a time when the number of women could not be ignored. After a passed clash with a woman, Picton was even a person of interest, but little came of it. A task force started with little results. Onwards!

Picton remained a quiet guy who focussed much of his attention on his slaughterhouse and befriended a few women, none of whom became anything romantic. However, with his brother’s influence, Picton had another side, one that enjoyed venturing into Vancouver’s Downtown East side to find prostitutes, He would take them back to the farm, offering money for sex and drugs. Then came the slew of missing women. Coincidence?

While he has been tasked by the French Court to report back on thing in England, Bruno continues his secret connection to Sir Francis Walsingham. When a woman in the Queen’s household is found poisoned, everyone wonders if it is tied to a Catholic plot. Bruno seeks answers for all!

Telling the story of a Canadian serial killer like no other, Stevie Cameron pulls the reader into the life and times of Robert 'Willie' Piction. Born and raised in British Columbia, Picton's life focussed on farm work, as his parents purchased a large piece of property to raise animals. Picton was a shy boy and always filthy, but his dedication to the farm was second to none. Shy, Picton found his niche working hard.

Giordano Bruno was never a monk who fell into line with ease. After being caught reading an outlaw book, Bruno flees his monastic life and remains on the lam for years. When he arrives in London at the end of the 16th century, he agrees to undertake a mission in Oxford. After his arrival, Bruno discovers that someone is killing off all the known Catholics and agrees to investigate in his own way. Heresy is all over!

Linwood Barclay, one of the great psych thriller writers that Canada has ever presented, has a love/hat relationship with Ontario politics. This tongue in cheek book is all about dismantling the Ontario Progressive Conservative Government of Mike Harris in the late 1990s. Barclay shows the horrible solutions that are being proposed to save a buck and alienate the electorate at each turn. Humorous and full of spin!

Bolton offers further suggestions that Trump runs his own ship, ignoring the views of others whose expertise brings them to the table. While there was surely a great deal of diplomacy taking place, tossing fuel onto some of these fires is surely not the way to make progress. Bolton offers credit where it is due, but is firm in his beliefs that he knows best in a number of situations, which bleeds through the text.

Bolton continues to delve into the depths of the Trump Administration, exploring many of the decisions that directly affected National Security. Interactions with foreign leaders proved highly intriguing and hold the reader's attention, while Trump whinges about things that he did not like. Bolton does come across as a 'know-it-all', but he is astute in some of his views, which appear to be shared with others.

In this chilling story, the reader gets pulled in from the opening sentences. Tom Kerr is a convicted killer, who agrees to lead the police to the location of one victim's body that's never been found. During the walk in the Norwegian forest, he makes a break for it and escapes. While the manhunt is on, the police must wonder if this was pre-planned. An apparent copycat has been killing in Kerr's style recently.

One of the most anticipated political books of 2020, John Bolton pulls back the curtain and offers his own insights into the world of Trump. To this point, it is not the scandalous tell-all that Trump sycophants and King of Tweet would have you believe, but offers greta behind the scenes views of key events in the Trump presidency, including some ideas about how Trump felt about those around him. Highly interesting!

In this latest short story surrounding Cassiopeia Vitt, the author’s open some very interesting aspects to the protagonist’s life. Years after the death of her parents, Vitt decides to sell their home in Spain. She has some of the artwork appraised, only to discover that it is all worthless copies. Stunned, Cassiopeia begins asking those closest to her father about this, which sends her to Andorra and more trouble!
