The Hunger Games (The Hunger Games, #1)
So far, I am really loving this book. A more mainstream version of the similar "The Long Walk" and " Running Man" plots from Stephen King's Richard Bachman releases, which were two of the books that made me such an avid reader in the first place.

The plot is getting thick. It's starting to get to the point where our protagonist has some real obstacles to overcome other than just waiting it out until the "right" date comes along. I'm beginning to get to the point where I don't want to put it down, but I know I'm gonna miss this one when I'm finished reading it.

The pace is slowing down, but it isn't boring yet. Let's call this part Act 2.

I'm loving this book so far... Must read "It" beforehand or a lot of the tension from one of the major subplots will be completely lost on you.

I'm really loving this book so far. Love the way it brings some of King's Universe, especially the Derry Universe, back to the reader's memories. To read this novel accurately, you must have read "IT" first.
