Unfortunately the sole female character in the novel is its weakest point and the proof that the book was written by your typical horny white male aged 20-40. US Marine captain "nice tits and great ass" gets assaulted so that our hero (and her ex) can save her, is useless in combat situations despite being a professional selected for this special mission and appears when plot calls for our hero to be distracted :/

End of chapter three, the big reveal. 21st century Polish super battalion ends up in 1939 - this is like a wet dream of every Pole post-WW2, and I like it:D

So far it's been much better than I expected.

Wre it not for my resolve to actually finish books I'd have stopped here because I get enough of this kind of stupid every day: "But we now know cells are enormously complex structures of such clockwork design that it's impossible to believe they are accidental in nature" - really? REALLY?

Struggling to finish it (and not throw it across the room) as the "mystery" seems to be all about creationism & discovering the creator. BLERGH.

I think my time would be better spent if I skipped the book(s) and moved straight to fanfiction. At least those writers know their craft.

Why is the writing so bad?? Did no one edit this thing? Very disappointing.
