Annoying nitpicking lol - night they meet (9 years in the past) they go back to his apartment she’s going thru his books and specifically mention he has one of RF Kuang’s novels but her first book wasn’t published till 2018 which was only 6 years before the events in the flashback scenes 🤡

I think Kristin Hannah is just not for me. Why is there always so much focus on problematic romance subplots?? Why is the main character so beautiful every married man she meets falls in love with her 🙄 and why is the book titled The WOMEN when the story follows just ONE white woman 🙄🙄🙄

First few chapters were cringy but it gets better with the flashback episodes establishing their long friendship and connection. Danny is a total golden retriever. Their nicknames of “Gracie girl” and “Danny boy” are icky tho lol

Damn I was so excited for this book but based on the first couple chapters this is not looking good. The MCs are 30 but talk and act like middle schoolers?? Too much cringy TikTok speak 🤡

Very readable and well-written; covers heavy topics about a marriage in trouble. 70% of the way in, they still haven’t discussed their main issues - the fmc comes across selfish and has me feeling sympathetic for the mmc 🤡 knocking it down to 3⭐️ bc of how long it’s taking them to even bring up their communication issues

Quick read, love the fmc’s personality and an obsessed mmc but the insta-lust is annoying. Talking soulmates after just a couple hours of knowing each other ☠️☠️☠️

Slow start but once we reach the point where we learn about their relationship and personal struggles it tugs at my heart

Better start than the Nightingale. Frankie (FMC) is a likable character so far despite her naivety. However you can already see the groundwork for infidelity and everyone always wanting her or falling in love with her or coddling her 🙄🙄🙄 rather than focusing on the many other different women that are also there to help. Hopefully this book doesn’t disappoint as well

Not bad, but overhyped. I hate when intelligent female characters make dumb choices bc of lust or ~feelings~

why is this educated psychiatrist ignoring all the red flags about the lawyer. She literally says he looks at her with hate in his eyes and she still swoons over him 🤮

I DON’T want this to be the first book I finish in 2026 so quickly rushing to finish. Why would the fmc trust a random man she just met a week ago to babysit for her and why is she so entitled to even ask and barge into his home??? And why would this mmc just happily go along with all of this when he has such a demanding job??? Ew all around 🤮
