Unbearably slow and boring. I did not see the movie, but was excited about the story. The author seems to jump from one person's experience to another, never really bringing them together and doesn't give me a sense of any continuity. I am only halfway through on my kindle, when I come to "Epilogue." To me this should be the end, but I still have almost 50% to go. What comes next is "Acknowledgements." I give up!

I happen to like craft beer and tho it took time to figure out what 's going to happen, this is 2 stories in one. I'm to the point, where I think I'm headed to a very satisfying ending, although there has been some sadness along the way. The author must be an IPA lover, because he understands the beer making process and describes it well. The main characters are two strong females, is a theme I have enjoyed this year

This is a typical Kristin Hannah novel, takes place in the Pacific Northwest and characters are well defind, a sympathetic character vs. one polar opposite. It's a little predictable, but looking forward to predicting what will happen.
