The plot is fast paced, but the writing is VERY Dan Brown.

NOBODY and I mean NOBODY falls asleep in the middle of a conversation JUST as the most important information is coming out. This book is ridiculous.

UGH the writing is so bad in this so far. All Dan Brown is doing is describing two good looking, extremely smart people. He's reduced the intelligent NSA employee down to her flat stomach, breasts and legs. It's AWFUL.

I know Jaycee isn't a writer, but jeez, this is overly simplistic writing. It's not great, but I admire her for putting her life out there.

This book is infuriating. I mean, I understand why Dana is acting the way she is, but come on. Everyone can see the writing on the wall here...

The Hangman's Bride: The best story of the bunch! I actually felt claustrophobic while reading this and the story was just so well written. 5/5

Hiking Through: This was a sad little story about a guy and his broken heart at Christmas. It gave me Wild flashbacks because he was hiking the Appalachian Trail.

Home: I have no idea what this story was about, but Old Bob creeped me out. 2/5

Honor Thy Mother: Wowza, this was an awesome story. I didn't see the end coming at all. 4/5

Yankee Swap: This was story was definitely the best one out of the bunch so far. It was hella entertaining and I'd watch a movie about this. 4/5

Doctor Velocity: SInce I don't know the Fire Zone series, the story was meh. 2/5

Farrow Street: I really didn't understand this story at all. Why is Christmas in London supposed to be so spooky? 2/5

The Second Floor of the Christmas Hotel: Okay, this was actually quite creepy. 3/5

Snake's Tail: Creepy story, quite unique. I don't even know how to describe it. 2.5/5

Mistletoe and Holly: Nah man. Nothing good about this story. Woman missing her husband killed in combat. Random woman helps bring him back? SO obvious these women were written by a man. He just talks about their bodies the entire time. 1.5/5

It's A Wonderful Knife: Pretty entertaining story about a knife that appears for only a minute on Christmas. 3/5

Good Deeds: This was actually surprisingly entertaining. A song makes a whole bunch of people kill themselves on Christmas. 3/5

Tenets: Also really boring. Cult leader comes to a holiday party. REALLY open ended way to end the story. 2/5

Not Just For Christmas: Genetically Modified Pets getting hacked. Yawn. 2/5

Love Me: Another meh story about a toy that needs a lot of love. 2/5

Fresh As The New Fallen Snow: Meh...I don't know if the mythology of the snow maiden and the abused children is true or not, but it was a pretty weak story.

Christmas in Barcelona: What the hell! The ending to this short story was a total shocker! I just thought it was a sweet story about some moving dolls. 3.5/5

Absinthe & Angels: Good God, I've never heard of mummers, but I'm going to be terrified by them now. 3/5

This book is so twisted, and I still have no idea what's going on, but I am hooked.

This book is really weird, but I can't expect less from the creator of Welcome to Night Vale.

This book is so lovely and nostalgic for me. I love knowing all this stuff.

Holy crap this book is so addictive!
