10/10 highly recommend this book! Gregg Olsen expertly puts Shasta’s story on paper in a way that draws the reader into the impossible dilemma between survival and destruction as summed up by Rebecca Bailey in the afterword that dilemma is often unwinnable.
Not for the faint of heart, reading about trauma is tragic! Final words: Blessings to Shasta for your future.
