Devyn is finished with The Rivalry: Mystery at the Army-Navy Game (The Sports Beat, #5)
"These are the same referees from the Navy and Notre Dame game. You men need to do something!” “Look Susan! They have new officials on the field!” The conflict with the cheating officials was solved when Obama’s men had them removed and replaced during halftime of the game. This could be contrasted with the Osama Bin Laden crisis and how Obama sent his men in and solved that problem.

This novel is a good one. It is the day of the famous Army and Navy football game. The reporters (main characters) Stevie and Susan Carol are in the mix of all this action. They have been getting intel from the players, coaches, and secret service for the president. This will be an interesting story.

This novel keeps getting better. Neely tells about going through his old town and seeing the old cafe shop he used to always go to because players had one free meal a week. He walks in and the room becomes silent. The old fans ignore him because they feel Neely ignored them for 15 years. He gets nervous and has to leave after signing the old picture of him on the wall b/c it started to bring back old aweful feelings.

The main character in this novel is a man named Neely Crenshaw. He is back in his home town for the first time in 15 years because of his once hated coach. During ihis high school years he was an All-American quarterback. Recruits from colleges came from everywhere to see him play in action. He lead Messina High School to a state title without their head coach and ended up having his jersey retired the next year.

I normally hate reading books, but this is actually a well writen novel. It tells about the life of a former all-star high school quarterback, years after he has graduated, coming back to the field for the first time since. I was introduced to the main character, Neely Crenshaw, which tells the differences between the past and present. It has really grabbed my attention and makes me want to read on.
