and really enjoying it. It is nice to read contemporary gay fiction which has romantic elements within it. It reminds me of the Apothecary's Garden by Julie Bozza, same kind of gentle yet deeply engrossing feel.

And laughing, this is just so funny.

Back from holiday in Cape Town and utterly exhausted. I had a fab time, but now I need another holiday just to recover from the one I have just taken. :)

I am really really enjoying this book. It reads like a fairy tale but is just so gripping with mystery (yet to be revealed) self-discovery and a slowly slowly developing love. It is just so beautiful.

Really great read so far.

So Del allowed his six year old brothers to watch footage of their parents being burnt to death in a fire because he thought it would help them get over the abuse they had suffered (pause and reflect) but he wont let them cross the road unsupervised.
